Google makes it easier to get inbound leads

Google is the most used search engine in the UK, with over a 90% market share, (Statcounter). It’s closest competitor, Bing, holds under a 5% share. Over 3.5 billion searches are made every day (Internet Live Stats) and this figure grows by roughly 10% every year. This incredible user count makes Google an excellent tool for business exposure.

Businesses need to make sure they are exactly where a customer is searching and providing the relevant information they require. Google’s latest update has made getting inbound leads even easier for businesses. They have launched a ‘Get a Quote’ call to action that means the consumer can interact with a business in real-time.

This new button is appearing in Knowledge Panels, just to the right of search results.

This is fantastic news for businesses, who, if managed correctly can give a customer the facts and figures they need efficiently. In an industry such as glazing, where much work is tailored to each customer and an ‘off the shelf’ package does not exist, this new update will be imperative.
