Purplex Marketing is preparing to brush up on the art of marketing at the Installer Show 2026, where the agency will swap the studio for the stand, putting creativity firmly in the frame.
Taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 23-25 June, the UK’s leading event for the heat, water, air, energy and built environment sectors will provide the perfect space for Purplex to showcase why original thinking still matters in modern marketing.
With more than 40,000 professionals and over 1,000 exhibitors expected, the show offers a busy canvas for conversation and connection. Purplex will be on hand to share its ‘Art of Marketing’ publication and talk to installers and manufacturers about building strong brands.
To bring the theme to life, team member Rob Sheppard will be in character as an artist, complete with his trademark waxed moustache and long hair, speaking with visitors throughout the event. The visual nod reflects a wider point the agency is keen to make: in a sector full of technical detail, the best marketing still needs a human touch.
Andrew Scott, founder and CEO of Purplex Marketing, said that while data and AI have their place, creativity remains the idea that turns attention into action. “Marketing may be measured in dashboards and reports, but the brands that people remember are those that feel distinctive, clear and well thought out,” he said.
Purplex will also be offering attendees the chance to book a no-obligation marketing audit consultation, giving businesses the opportunity to walk away with practical recommendations to implement immediately.
Andrew Scott, whose uncle William Scott was an internationally-renowned artist, added that great marketing, like great art, is often about knowing what to leave out. “In a noisy market, clarity matters. The clean line and the strong idea still stand out.”
Visitors to the Installer Show can find Purplex on stand 4I14 at the NEC Birmingham from 23-25 June.
