Purplex capture XtremeDoor on camera
Purplex Marketing, the full service marketing agency that specialises in the fenestration and construction industry, recently spent two days in Merseyside filming on behalf of leading composite door manufacturer, Vista.
Purplex were collecting footage ready to produce a series of product videos promoting Vista’s signature XtremeDoor. The two man film crew spent time filming at three locations – Vista’s 55,000 square foot factory, the showroom of trade customer Everite Windows, and on site with a local builder as he replaced a timber door with XtremeDoor.

Keith Sadler, managing director of Vista, commented: “The Purplex film crew were very professional and worked incredibly hard over the two days, collecting some excellent footage. Our factory is always a hive of activity – we produce hundreds of composite doors every day – but Purplex worked around our busy fabricators very effectively, causing no disruption whatsoever. The first few videos look superb and we’ve had some very positive feedback from our customers – I’m looking forward to releasing the rest throughout the course of the year.”
Purplex’s head of video, Andrew Sykes, commented: “Vista are one of the biggest players in the composite door market and it was fascinating to see how they produce XtremeDoor and capture the process on camera. Vista’s customer, Mark Scudder from Everite Windows, was very passionate about XtremeDoor, so I was particularly delighted to get his comments on film. Now we have the footage we will be producing 12 clips optimised for Twitter’s auto-play feature, and will be extensively promoting these via social media.”
The Purplex video division consists of a skilled team of experts who deliver a complete video production package, from script to screen. The company has a dedicated visual studio at their offices, fully equipped with state-of-the-art cameras, lighting and sound recording, along with the latest editing and graphics software. The crew will travel anywhere in the UK or worldwide.
The videos will be used to help installers explain the many benefits of XtremeDoor to the end user. The videos can be viewed from the XtremeDoor Youtube channel.
