Purplex is 70+ hand-picked, talented people who work together and play together. Our approach is collaborative with a large, open-plan office layout with our teams working on client projects together. We invest heavily in staff development and our team benefit from ongoing training on a monthly basis as well as attending regular events, conferences and specialist training programmes in London, including Google HQ. We also operate an in-house Graduate and Apprenticeship training programme and our team are encouraged to develop new skills.
It’s not all work though; the Purplex team work hard and play hard, with regular nights out, barbecues, parties and events. It creates a special bond and teamwork that our clients often find inspiring.
Meet our senior management team below
Managing Director, Purplex Marketing
Andrew has a hands-on approach with that rare ability to combine creative thinking with strong analytical skills. He oversees strategic direction of client campaigns working closely with the senior management team. With a background in the building products and glazing industry dating back to 1986, Andrew is the leading marketing expert in that field and today advises some of the biggest names in the business.
Sam joined Purplex in 2009 with a degree in media and communications. He develops the marketing plans, ideas and angles that help our clients grow, and spends much of his time working directly with clients. With overall day-to-day responsibility for client projects Sam also leads the PR team which includes experienced PR account managers, qualified journalists, professional copywriters, and researchers/media relations.
With over 15 years’ experience in construction and building product marketing, Adi is a digital specialist who joined Purplex in 2013. Commercially focused he ensures projects and campaigns deliver results. His team includes account managers, content writers, web designers and developers, and specialists in data analysis, search engine marketing, pay-per-click, re-marketing and social media.
Vicky is responsible for project management and operations, and works directly with clients to ensure they are delighted with our service and kept in the loop. A brilliant organiser who is focused on results and customer service. Vicky works closely with Adi Day within the digital team and also studio-manages the creative department, managing a team of graphic designers, email marketers, photographers and creatives.
Group Commercial Director
Helen is an accountant with great people skills and a secret desire to work in our creative department. Her grandfather was Stanley Thomas Pickering OBE, who was managing director of Pilkington Glass. She joined Purplex in 2008, having previously ran her own accountancy firm, and today manages the finance and HR department.
With more than 12 years’ experience in the private and public sectors, Dan is a creative and highly productive digital marketing professional. He joined Purplex in January 2018 after working for the Environment Agency for 10 years and manages the Pay-Per-Click (PPC) team. Dan has a wide range of digital planning, paid strategy and analytical skills with a focus on delivering high performance PPC campaigns for clients.
Head of SEO, Content & Social
With several years’ experience within the digital marketing sector, Laura has worked on digital projects for clients such as Virgin Media, Lakeland and Visit Somerset. She joined Purplex in 2017 and organises all three departments. She collaborates with the wider digital team and is hands on with all major client projects to ensure their KPIs are met. Laura is passionate about growing a team of committed digital marketeers and taking the department to the next level.
