Supporting charities

Supporting good causes and giving back is a big part of who we are. This year alone we have raised and donated over £10,000 for a number of charities including Cancer Research UK, WAM Youth, The Mental Health Foundation, Prospect Hospice, The Alzheimer’s Association, Save the Children, The Red Cross Ukrainian Appeal, Weston Lions, Children with Cerebral Palsy and Just One Ocean. And as we grow as a business our donations rise too.

Our company is founded three principles for success – Purpose, Planning, Execution. And in case you haven’t noticed, they’re also the foundation for our name! See below to discover more.

Purpose

Have a clear understanding of the goals and outcome. What do we want to achieve? Over how long? Who is the target audience? What are the numbers?

Planning

We will use the brief alongside our experience and analysis to create the strategy and develop the key messages, creative collateral and relevant content.

Execution

Our team will work seamlessly to deliver powerful results, engaging with your target audience wherever they are across the relevant channels.

Inspiring future generations

Purplex has close ties with many of the local schools and colleges and we work together on a number of initiatives. For example, Purplex managing director Andrew Scott opened an Alan Sugar business centre at a local school, was a judge at a Dragons Den style competition at another school, regularly presents school awards and regularly gives inspirational talks to students. Andrew is often supported at these events by members of the Purplex team.

Apprenticeships

We’re big believers in apprenticeships here at Purplex. They give young people an opportunity to build a successful career and are a very effective way of learning skills in a practical working environment. We have several apprentices working at Purplex and several of our full time staff are former apprentices.

Job Creation

Our strong business growth has created a number of high quality, rewarding jobs for people in the local community. In 2009 Purplex employed five people, we now have over 100 staff with plans to expand to more than 200 over the next few years. We’re proud of our track record of moulding raw and inexperienced talent into fully fledged marketing gurus.

Our force for good extends much further than our local community, it benefits people across the nation and even worldwide. By helping our clients grow, they in turn are able to create more jobs and benefit their local communities, something we call the “ripple effect”.
