Supporting charities

In 2015 we raised £10,568 for a number of charities including the Alzheimer’s Society, Anthony Nolan Trust, Bobby Moore Fund, Cancer Research UK, Children’s Hospice South West, Comic Relief, Macmillan Cancer Support, Motor Neurone Disease Association, Race for Life, Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund and the British Heart Foundation. We are on course to beat this target in 2016.

We will use the brief alongside our experience and analysis to create the strategy and develop the key messages, creative collateral and relevant content.

Inspiring future generations

Purplex has close ties with many of the local schools and colleges and we work together on a number of initiatives. For example, Purplex managing director Andrew Scott opened an Alan Sugar business centre at a local school, was a judge at a Dragons Den style competition at another school, regularly presents school awards and regularly gives inspirational talks to students. Andrew is often supported at these events by members of the Purplex team.

We’re big believers in apprenticeships here at Purplex. They give young people an opportunity to build a successful career and are a very effective way of learning skills in a practical working environment. We have several apprentices working at Purplex and several of our full time staff are former apprentices.

Our strong business growth has created a number of high quality, rewarding jobs for people in the local community. In 2009 Purplex employed five people – eight years later we now have over 70 staff with plans to expand to more than 200 over the next few years. We’re proud of our track record of moulding raw and inexperienced talent into fully fledged marketing gurus.
