Purplex client wins at prestigious awards
One of Purplex’s fastest growing clients – Almeda Facilities Ltd – is celebrating a major awards win.
The total facilities management business walked away with the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the prestigious Institute of Directors awards.
The awards celebrate leadership and business success and are notoriously difficult to win; as finalists have to endure a rigorous entry and judging process.
Stephanie Massie, who works on Almeda’s account, put together the entry.
She comments: “It was a time consuming process but worth it. It’s also an example of how PR isn’t just about words on a page but about creating events and shaping opinion. Almeda deserved to win this award but like any busy business they needed some support to produce a winning entry – which is where Purplex came in.”
Brady George, Almeda’s MD, comments: “Purplex have been a great support for Almeda and totally get our business and what we’re trying to achieve. It’s the second award we’ve won in less than a year and Purplex have helped to package all of the great stuff we’re doing into a narrative and story that wows judges.”
IoD South West chairman Nick Sturge comments: “Once again we had an extremely high standard of entries demonstrating the breadth and depth of talent, enterprise and leadership across the region.
“The judges were particularly impressed by the clear leadership demonstrated by all the shortlisted entries, as well as the emphasis on people and values, which are essential to steer an organisation forward in any sector.”
